Another trip to the shops today and another five minifigs found. Although each figure is pretty unique so it should be easy to find out which is which with a bit of fondling, in reality its not quite as easy as I thought.
The packets are quite thick and therefore it can be quite hard to distinguish the hair style, plus some of the figures have moulding to the back of the heads that you can’t see from the pictures on the box.
Anyway, to todays haul –
Homer – although the head shape is quite distinctive, you can use the presence of the donut and remote control to confirm that its Homer. Although he has the same body as the house, he now has open eyes as opposed to the half-closed ones.
Ralph Wiggum – the smooth head and the presence of his valentines card was the giveaway.
Nelson Muntz – I used the presence of the baseball bat to determine it was him. What you can’t see in the photo is that he has a line of spiky hair on the rear of his head which could confuse you.
Scratchy – quite an easy one to find, the axe helps a lot. What you can’t see in the photo though is the tail which is a separate piece.
Chief Wiggum – here the hat is the giveaway, although the accessories help.
Well, that’s 10 out of 16 found – only another six to go. However, in my fondling I’ve not yet found a Bart, Milhouse or Mr Burns.
