Angry Birds Star Wars II Telepods Compatibility

By | 18th October 2013

I’ve got a fairly limited selection of devices at my disposal, but I’m hoping someone will find this list useful and will add to it by leaving a comment on the page.

The official list of compatible devices from the Hasbro website is –

Appple iOS
iPhone – 4, 4S and 5
iPad – 2 and 3
iPad – 4 and Mini (Wi-Fi only)
iPod Touch – 4th and 5th Generation

Android
Google Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7 and 10
Amazon Kindle Fire HD
Asus PadFone/PadStation
HTC EVO 4G, Optimus G Pro and HTC One X
Huawei Ascend P6
LG Swift L5 and Vu Motorola Milestone 2, Xoom 2, Droid Razr and Razr Maxx HD
Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Ace Plus, Note, Note II, S2, S3, S4, TAb 7.7, and Tab 2 10.1in

The unofficial list of a whole four Android devices is –

Sony Xperia S
ICS 4.0.4 – works very well in all but really dark rooms
Advent Vega
Seems to work on Vegabean which is 4.1.1 and up – I’m currently using Cyanogenmod 10.1 which is based on 4.1 I think. However, it needs good light to work.
Generic A13 Allwinner Tablet
One of the tablets we have is based on 4.0.4 with a single camera and I can’t get the Telepods to be recognised at all. The second one we have has two cameras and is running 4.1.1 and the Telepods work fairly well on this but again need good light.

Please comment below and I’ll add any other devices to the list.

Working on Galaxy Tab 2 7″ model
    need to open camera app
    adjust white balance to +2.0
open Angry Birds Star Wars App
    Telepod icon
    place telepods on camera lens
    Works best in BRIGHT LIGHT!!!

for Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, where do you adjust the white balance and do you open the camera app before opening the Angry Birds Star Wars app? Thanks for the info

I’d like to know if Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 SM-T210 is compatible with Telepods.

Sorry, my son seems to have moved on to Minecraft so the Telepods are now gathering dust.

I would imagine it would be compatible – they work fine on the iPad Mini 1.
